Hi everyone!

Okay, so I’ve committed to making 2024 the year that everything happens. And by “everything,” I mean a lot of books and cool things.

I’m writing a new “episodic” series, working title is just “Chicago” (because yes, it’s urban fantasy set in Chicago- hopefully the actual title will be better). Main characters are a sexy ifrit (a type of djinn) and cinnamon roll twink with Trauma. Plan to record for YouTube, releasing one episode per week (with extra “steamy” scenes being Patreon only). When major story arcs are completed, I’ll release them as novels. But the intention is to have an ongoing, episodic audiobook series on YouTube. I’ll post details when it’s ready (the first couple of episodes are very close).

I’m working on Bel’s War III, still untitled. I’m writing certain story arcs as their own stories- which will get woven together later as the book forms. Right now, I‘m writing a backstory for Ereth that I think is important- the story, from Ereth’s point of view, of how-and more importantly, why- she corrupted a god and became the feared Goddess of Magic. That story arc, in particular, I plan to release on my Patreon as I get it done. I’m nearly ready to release the first part of it now.

I’ve temporarily stopped working on Serian Tales- excerpts from the first few chapters are already available on my Patreon. This is a passion project of mine, so it will get done, but at this point I have to prioritize Bel’s War and the audiobook gig, so hopefully I can get financially stable as I move forward. Since this series is one that will get released as a completed trilogy, nobody is suffering for its absence- that being said, I do have book 1 complete already (like, I haven’t been doing nothing all these months!). I’m just not going to release it until books 2 and 3 are also ready for release. When Bel’s War III is done, I’ll return to this series and finish it.

My last major endeavor is that I’ve started narrating and producing audiobooks for writers who serve the LGBTQ+ community. That’s also taking up some of my time- I’m not doing it full time, but as I find my financial footing without my “day job” propping me up, I hope to be able to do a lot more of it.

Stay tuned.

~Adam
