Serian Tales is a planned trilogy following Kaden Wolfe, a charismatic minor Serian noble and mage, and Prince Ahren Yeshal, the third child of the Kingrave of Celine. Seria and Celine are bitter enemies, one a society built around magic, the other built on it’s rejection.
Kade is a terrible mage. In fact, the only kind of magic he’s any good at is the one kind that can get him killed. He’s a rifter, a mage able to tear open doorways in space and travel instantly from one place to another. Kade uses his gift as only he can: for larceny and fun. Until, that is, he is accused of murder.
Ahren is burdened by duty, a violent and frightening older brother seemingly bent on war, and a terrifying past that still haunts him. When he is tasked with hunting down a dangerous rifter, a mage that has somehow infiltrated the very heart of Celine, he will stop at nothing to get justice, from the dangerous wizen and from his murderous brother.
The Serian Tales Trilogy will be published together once all three books are complete. In the meantime, the first full book, “Rifter,” is complete and available to read instantly on my Patreon for paid members (Novice tier and above). It is approximately 86k words.
